BirdBuffer is seeking a proactive and results-driven National Account Manager (NAM) to support and grow sales through one of our most important national channel partners a large multi-location Pest Control company that resells and services BirdBuffer products to their own end-customers.
This role is not about selling directly to end users its about enabling and accelerating our distributor partners success. The NAM will embed deeply into the partners commercial teams provide sales enablement assist in deal support and ensure the partners internal staff has everything they need to confidently position and grow BirdBuffer solutions. This is a channel development role requiring excellent relationship-building training technical communication and long-cycle sales support skills.
Key Success Factors:
- YoY revenue growth from the pest control partner account
- Number of BirdBuffer-trained sales reps at the partner company
- Number of assisted or supported partner-led sales opportunities
- Partner satisfaction and renewal/expansion rates
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Ownership & Enablement
- Act as the primary liaison between BirdBuffer and the national pest control partner supporting their sales and operations teams.
- Build and execute a partner-specific growth plan that includes sales targets training cadences field engagement and issue resolution.
Sales Support & Collaboration
- Provide direct deal support for partner-led opportunities including participating in sales calls helping scope solutions and addressing objections.
- Coach and educate the partners field sales teams branch managers and technical leads on BirdBuffers value proposition use cases and differentiators.
- Coordinate and deliver ongoing training (in-person and virtual) to ensure high awareness and confidence selling BirdBuffer.
Partner Success & Growth
- Identify and remove obstacles to partner sales success from marketing and technical needs to service and support alignment.
- Collaborate with BirdBuffer internal teams to streamline ordering delivery refills and support for the partner and their customers.
- Help structure partner promotions territory strategy and account mapping for large customer opportunities.
CRM & Reporting
- Track and report on all activity within the partner account including active opportunities training engagements and sales performance.
- Provide regular internal updates on partner growth progress barriers and new opportunities.

Required Education Experience and Skills:
- 5 years of outside sales experience with proven ability to exceed revenue goals and account /business development building targets.
- Technical and consultative mindset with the ability to quickly learn and become a subject matter expert of industry and market factors leverage best practices and product knowledge to assist decision makers.
- Proficient with customer relationship management (CRM) tools ( or similar).
- Proficient with standard software programs including ERP Microsoft Outlook Teams Word and Excel.
- Proven ability to negotiate with and influence others; highly skilled in sales with passion for cross-selling and upselling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; proven ability to meet deadlines and exceed goals.
- You are an independent contributor and self-starter not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Organized detail oriented strong project management skills.
- Excellent presentation and closing skills.
Preferred Education Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Challenger Sales and consultative skillset.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Routine travel (approx. 50%) required
- Ability to travel to meet with customers attend trade shows or events on average once a month.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Members of the sales team have a critical role in the participation of on-site customer visits trade shows and other company events therefore prolonged periods of standing is required; the ability to lift carry and assemble demonstration equipment is required.
