Marketing Communications Manager

We are seeking for a highly self-motivated and talented communication manager to initiate coordinate and implement our annual communication plan. The candidate will work under the supervision of Public Affairs & Communication Manager of Sherwin APAC to jointly develop and implement local communication strategy to support the enhancement of Sherwins brand and reputation in the region.

To be successful the candidate will need to proactively identify and develop stakeholder networks localize and tailor-made Sherwin group messages. You will be producing high-quality content that engage key stakeholders including employee media customers and clients.

1. CORE RESPONSIBILITY: Communication strategy implement.

• Implement effective communication strategies that raise Sherwins brand awareness and reputation in APAC.

1. CORE RESPONSIBILITY:Media Relations

• Act as the primary media contact for all corporate inquiries.

• Proactively pitch corporate stories executive thought leadership and company milestones to secure positive media coverage.

• Prepare senior executives for media interviews and speaking engagements.

1. CORE RESPONSIBILITY:Corporate Events

• Develop and manage end-to-end event planning process for a portfolio of events including exhibitions webinars internal meetings and other corporate hospitality events etc.
• Source negotiate with and manage external vendors to ensure high-quality service and value.
• Managing budgets effectively to prevent overspending.

1. CORE RESPONSIBILITY:Social Media

• Create and manage high-quality engaging and platform-specific content (e.g. text images video stories) for Wechat Rednote Douyin Weibo Linkedin etc.
• Manage the content calendar ensuring a steady and strategic flow of posts.
• Collaborate with the BU marketing teams to produce compelling content/visual assets.

1. CORE RESPONSIBILITY: Website

• Serve as the primary regional contact for Asia PCG gateway page and future Corporate website localization.

• Serve as the primary liaison between Cleveland website team and 6 Asia Business Units (BUs) to ensure alignment and support for their respective websites.

1. EDUCATION BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

• Required/必需的Bachelors degree
• Preferred/优先考虑的Bachelors degree with major in marketing journalism or communications from a renowned university

1. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
   1. Required/必需的>5 years of work experience in marketing communications
   2. Preferred/优先考虑的>10 years of work experience in marketing communications within a multinational B2B environment (coating industry highly preferred).

1. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
   1. Required/必需的: Good command of both Chinese and English languages adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously detail oriented.
   2. Preferred/优先的Exceptional writing & editing skills strong project management experience detail and result oriented media savvy with crisis management experience.
