We are looking for an experienced and hands-on professional to lead our Sales Support function and act as a key partner to the Country Head of J.P. Morgan Asset Management Switzerland to whom the role reports directly.
This role is central to the effective running of the Swiss sales franchise. Working in close partnership with the Country Head it ensures that commercial priorities are well coordinated financial performance is monitored and client activity is fully supported. The position plays a key role in aligning stakeholders and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations across functions. It suits a practical hands-on leader who combines strategic perspective with strong execution skills and client service in a lean and collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Sales Support team across Zurich and Geneva fostering a collaborative results-driven and service-oriented culture.
- Work closely with the Country Head and Client Advisors on planning financial tracking and performance analysis to support commercial objectives.
- Monitor and interpret key business metrics (AuM flows revenues costs margins) and provide timely insights to guide decision-making.
- Manage financial coordination and reporting partnering with Finance and regional stakeholders to ensure accuracy transparency and alignment.
- Drive effective stakeholder management serving as a central coordination point across Sales Marketing Operations Compliance and regional teams.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations ensuring consistency efficiency and a high standard of client service.
- Maintain oversight of governance and regulatory processes for the Swiss legal entity
- Contribute directly to key projects and initiatives balancing leadership with hands-on delivery and execution.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field.
- 710 years of experience in sales support or business management within financial services or asset management ideally in a lean fast-paced environment with direct client impact.
- Strong understanding of the Swiss asset management landscape including products distribution and regulation.
- Proven leadership experience in a lean team with a hands-on approach to managing motivating and developing others.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with experience producing and interpreting management information and reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across teams.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (Power BI Tableau QlikView) is advantageous.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Quick adaptable and effective at multi-tasking in fast-paced environments.
- Service-oriented with a strong commitment to client outcomes.
- Commercially minded detail-oriented and accountable.
- Strong team player supportive and effective in motivating others.
