Job Summary

Seeking a Junior Design Engineer to contribute to a forward-thinking audio-visual integration team specializing in custom DVLED mounting solutions. Dedicated to supporting company and project objectives through precise technical design clear documentation and close collaboration with engineering fabrication and project management teams. Motivated to apply problem-solving skills CAD proficiency and a strong attention to detail to develop innovative reliable and installation-ready DVLED mounting systems that enhance client experiences and uphold the organizations standards of quality safety and precision.


Qualifications :

Education:      

  • Associates Degree with progressive experience as a mechanical engineering technician in a manufacturing and assembly environment.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

Experience:    

  • Minimum one to five years of broad-based designing for manufacturing and fabrication experience.

Skills/Abilities:           

  • Effective communicative and writing skills
  • Able to follow direction and drive projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong Technical aptitude
  • PC computer operational skills
  • 3D modeling software experience with SolidWorks

ESSENTIAL RESULTS:

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects of limited scope and impact or portions of a major project.
  • Will be able to create   drawings BOMs and instructions to coordinate with engineering and manufacturing in the rapid development of sheet metal fabrication  in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Uses good judgment in the planning scheduling and coordinating of all project phases.
  • Assist the Custom Design Engineers in developing drawings in SolidWorks when required.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: (Engineering)

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance. Anything above 30 lbs. requires a team lift.
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder level waist level and below waist
  • Must be able to use a pallet jack lift equipment and weight plates with a chain hoist/gantry crane (Certified through Peerless-AV).
  • Must be able to use hand tools; cordless drill/driver and pneumatic rivet gun.
  • Must be able to work in non-dust/non-climate-controlled areas.
  • Must be able to wear required safety PPE.
