Job Summary
AECOMs Transportation business line has a position available in Piscataway or Bloomfield NJ for a Senior Right of Way Engineer - This candidate must be very familiar with NJTA and NJDOT ROW plan and document production. Design work will include Conceptual Design Preliminary Design and Final Design. This is a hybrid-role requiring in-office presence 3 days/week.
The individual in this role will be entrusted with critical responsibilities including but not limited to:
Responsibilities will include:
- Understanding of NJ ROW Law and appraisal processes for Transportation projects.
- Experience in the preparation and review of all right of way deliverables in accordance with NJTA and NJDOT procedures and standards.
- Experience in the preparation and review of jurisdiction and maintenance limit maps and agreements.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering plus eight years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- PE in New Jersey State or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant experience using engineering design modeling and drafting software (Bentley or AutoDesk)
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)
