ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a 4-8 month student co-op position starting in January 2026
The Human Resources Intern is involved in supporting the HR department with various tasks and projects.
- Assist in entering applicant information.
- Assist in screening applicants and recruiting.
- Organization of employee records and data entry.
- Scanning copying and filing of HR-related documents.
- Check and maintain HR email inbox.
- Assist with monthly Organization Chart.
- Audit HR systems and files.
- Create and edit content for intranet.
- Conduct basic research on HR-related topics such as HR Trends
- Observe and document current HR processes workflows and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement. This could include creating flowcharts process maps and other visual aids to clearly illustrate current workflows.
- Other duties as assigned by the HR team.
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or diploma in business is preferred.
- Industry-related knowledge an asset.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Ability to work well under pressure either individually and/or as part of a team.
- Highly developed mental and physical organizational skills.
- Advanced time management skills with the ability to re-prioritize assignments based on changing direction or initiatives.
- Ethical confidential and professional manner.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work with and support team members from a distance.
- Highly conscientious.
- An energetic and mature approach to his or her work.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Occasional travel may be required.
