Mission
We are looking for students to support our Alberta proposals teams by updating and organizing our resume and project sheet libraries. This work is an important step in ensuring our proposal materials are accurate professional and aligned with client expectations. These students will work collaboratively across both regions helping to create consistent and shared content libraries that benefit all teams.
Primary responsibilities
Resumes
- Review team member profiles to make sure they follow the required format.
- Conduct interviews with team members to fill in any missing or unclear details.
- Cross-check project listings to ensure consistency across all profiles.
- Manage feedback and approvals from team members.
- Format finalized resumes using existing Word templates.
Project Sheets
- Review and refine project descriptions to match the required format.
- Interview project managers to confirm key details are included.
- Work with managers to finalize and approve updates.
- Format completed project sheets using established Word templates.
Qualifications :
- Student presently enrolled in college or university in Communications Journalism Marketing or any relevant degree in technical writing
- Strong writing skills to adapt technical information into clear non-technical language.
- Experience working with Word templates and styles.
- Great organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and follow up as needed.
- The ability to proactively search for answers and solve problems.
- Strong communication and interview skills to gather detailed information.
- Familiarity with SharePoint libraries or tools like ChatGPT.
The salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $24.65 per hour depending on your academic profile the number of credits earned and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.
Please note that our co-op internship and student job opportunities are offered to individuals that are presently enrolled in a program at an educational institution. To be admissible for an internship your work experience must meet the requirements from your study program and must be recognized by your educational institution.
