Ofsted noted that putting students first is something that directs and guides actions each day. Because leaders set such a strong example of their high ambitions for pupils other staff mirror these aspirations. You will be required to work closely with members of our Inclusion Team and have the energy and creativity to develop and inspire students learning.
The role of an Advanced Teaching Assistant across our Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of children by providing practical and learning support to children with communication and interaction needs including those with Education Health Care Plans under the direction of the class teacher SENDCo or the extended inclusion team. This will involve planning preparing and delivering bespoke interventions to support students to help with their ability to communicate with others understand social cues and express themselves with confidence; to record and review the impact of these interventions so as to inform the next steps and identify any further interventions that may be required.
