Job Summary
Overview
Knowledge Services is seeking a remote Systems Analyst to support a project through June 2026 (potential for extension) with the State of Maine Office of Technology.
- This position will work 100% remotely (applicants residing in the EST or CST time zones are preferred)
- Applicants with prior State or Federal government experience are preferred
- Please note that we cannot accept any candidates requiring C2C or sponsorship for a work visa
Responsibilities
Systems Analyst Responsibilities:
This Systems Analyst will support a core Oracle application.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting technical analysis grooming the product backlog and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support ongoing development and operational needs.
Perform in-depth technical analysis of Oracle-based systems and workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and prioritize the application backlog.
Create and maintain clear accurate documentation for system processes and enhancements.
Support administrative functions including:
Application deployment certification processes.
Preparation and submission of waiver documentation.
Representing DAFS Applications in MaineITs Change Management processes.
Qualifications
Systems Analyst Required Skills:
Must have experience with System Analysis & Design of Oracle applications and enterprise systems analysis.
Must have experience with Gathering Technical Requirements
Must have experience with Documentation for Technical Change Management
Must have experience with Jira
Strong analytical documentation and communication skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog grooming practices.
Experience with IT administrative processes including change management and deployment support
