We are an in-office company and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. (Note: For EpiSci job openings fully remote work will be considered by exception.)
About the role
- Develop and execute the system validation strategy for one or more autonomy modules (perception planning prediction localization) for L4 trucking.
- Build comprehensive test plans and specifications across testing modalities including simulation and real-world testing.
- Work closely with systems engineering teams on validation test plans to ensure completeness and coverage across ODD and behavior.
- Develop and implement strategies for analyzing real-world to measure performance and identify challenging and relevant events.
- Identify develop and measure performance metrics and report on performance evaluation.
- Identify build and deploy frameworks/pipelines to enable metric generation and evaluation.
- Trace identified metrics to the safety case tree.
- Support generation of the safety case and release recommendation reports.
Were looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or similar
- 2 years of experience in a scenario engineer or testing engineer role with an autonomous vehicle company
- 24 months of experience using Python YAML SQL Jira Confluence Github and Polarion
The salary range for this position is $118500 - $144900 per year USD annually.
