POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Engineer supports the Embraer Sales Organization with technical information and insights aiming to educate and translate the product value proposition to the customers reality. Main activities include developing persuasive aircraft performance analysis ownership cost analysis comparative studies company overviews and training the Sales Organization members on product features. As knowledge and results evolve the Sales Engineer may join customer visits at the Sales Directors discretion and represent the company externally at events tradeshows and conferences.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare studies and insights related to Aircraft Performance (route runway analysis and others) crafting persuasive analyses for potential customers and developing supportive tools.
Develop aircraft operating cost studies creating comprehensive financial scenarios and tools.
Create insightful comparative studies of Embraer aircraft against other products.
Develop and deliver training to the Sales Team and other employees across the Sales & Marketing organization.
Maintain and enhance product presentations ensuring they contain accurate up-to-date and relevant information.
Stay abreast of market trends and product updates bringing new knowledge to the team.
Support Marketing initiatives ensuring the product value proposition is correctly represented.
Represent the company in industry events engaging with potential customers and market experts.
Cultivate relationships with industry players and influencers in alignment with sales objectives.
As experience evolves the Sales Engineer may participate in technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders elucidating product characteristics and their associated offerings.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
BA Degree in Aerospace Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or related relevant experience
Experience:
Previous Experience with sales engineering sales sales support flight operations engineering product development engineering or similar function is a plus
Knowledge of aircraft performance and/or aircraft systems required

Working Conditions / Environment/Special Requirements
Ability to travel domestically and internationally in support of sales department marketing or tools development. Initially up to 10% of travel is expected.
