The Opportunity

We are looking for an Accounting Coop for our Scarborough location.

What Youll Do

• Assisting Divisional Accountants in all aspects of General Ledger work in a large diversified multi-divisional manufacturing Company
• Providing a support service for Divisional Accounting teams
• Analyzing accounts to support G/L transactions variance explanations and account reconciliations
• Preparing reports for Senior Management
• Participating in team meetings
• Other work as assigned

What You Bring

• Valid drivers license (please provide proof) in good standing
• Student will work 100% in the office.
• Enrolled in post-secondary Accounting Program with intention of completing CMA/CGA designation
• Excellent interpersonal communication and computer skills (must be an advanced excel user)
• You must be highly numerate and a logical analytical thinker.
• Can work independently or in a team setting in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work under pressure and accurately handle large volumes of work
• Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to learn a useful business skill
• Ability to manage your time and meet deadlines.
