Job Summary
The primary role of this position is to assist the Chair of the Department of Master of Sciences in Medical Sciences with matters pertinent to program development and enhancement student engagement budget and resource management human resource management of faculty program compliance and communication with program stakeholders. The program seeks a dynamic manager that will in collaboration with the Department Chair assist in the strategic development supervision and human resources management of the faculty within the department. An ideal candidate will be able to assist with the development and creation of initial yearly budget as well as with the preparation of weekly/monthly/ quarterly financial and academic reviews as needed by the Department Chair. This position is directly responsible for managing the department operations planning and implementation of department goals and strategies. Additionally supervision of student volunteers supervision of special events and communications with other campus offices.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A bachelors degree in business administration business management or related field. - Experience: 2-3 years of experience in program management within higher education. - Travel: May require overnight travel.
