What impact you will have
Youll be responsible for designing analyzing and optimizing direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems to ensure high-performance thermal management energy efficiency and product reliability across next-generation hardware platforms.
What youll do
- Perform detailed CFD simulations heat transfer and fluid dynamics analyses for DLC systems and components.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical electrical and product teams to validate thermal and mechanical performance in prototypes and production builds.
- Translate simulation results into design recommendations guiding material selection geometry and flow path improvements.
- Support system-level thermal optimization including cold plate manifold and coolant loop integration.
- Design and conduct thermal validation tests collect performance data and iterate with design teams for optimization.
- Prepare clear technical documentation analysis reports and presentations for internal design reviews and external partners.
- Contribute to the development of thermal design guidelines and best practices for DLC architectures.
What youll need
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Thermal Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in thermal or fluid systems design preferably in electronics cooling or data center applications.
- Hands-on expertise with CFD and thermal simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS Fluent Icepak SolidWorks Flow Simulation or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of heat exchangers coolant flow and pressure drop trade-offs.
- Ability to interpret experimental data and correlate with simulation results.
- Strong analytical documentation and communication skills; able to clearly present findings to cross-functional teams.
