Job Summary
Profile-About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with strong expertise in database development performance optimization and data analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with application BI and product teams to design develop and maintain scalable and high-performing database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and optimize SQL queries stored procedures functions views and triggers.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes data pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Perform database performance tuning query optimization indexing and troubleshooting.
- Ensure database security integrity and compliance with best practices.
- Collaborate with developers to support application integrations and improve database efficiency.
- Analyze complex datasets and provide insights or reports when required.
- Participate in system design discussions estimation and technical documentation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage database deployments migrations and version control.
- Monitor and maintain database health performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience as an SQL Developer or Database Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL) with solid understanding of relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with ETL tools/processes (SSIS preferred).
- Knowledge of SSRS/Power BI for reporting (good to have).
- Experience with data modeling schema design and normalization.
- Familiarity with cloud databases (Azure SQL AWS RDS) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD for database deployments.
