Key Responsibilities:
Group Consolidations & Reporting:
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multiple entities in compliance with IFRS.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end quarter-end and year-end reporting.
Technical Accounting & Compliance:
Provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues and new standards.
Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
Operational Leadership:
Partner with business units to improve financial processes and controls.
Drive operational efficiency and support decision-making through accurate reporting.
Project Management & Strategic Initiatives:
Lead financial projects including system implementations process improvements and the integration of new entities.
Support deal-making and structuring activities including due diligence and financial modelling.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with senior leadership Auditors and external advisors.
Present financial results and insights to executive management and the Board.
Qualifications & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
810 years post-articles experience with strong technical accounting expertise.
Proven experience in multi-entity group reporting and IFRS compliance.
Exposure to deal structuring mergers & acquisitions and project management.
Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strategic thinker with operational execution capability.
