We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial electrical contracting projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction project management budgeting scheduling and leadership. This role involves coordinating with clients subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time within budget and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan organize and manage electrical projects from start to finish.
Develop project scope schedules and budgets ensuring cost control and timely completion.
Oversee the installation of electrical systems ensuring compliance with local state and national electrical codes.
Coordinate and communicate with clients architects engineers subcontractors and vendors.
Lead project teams including electricians technicians and subcontractors.
Review and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Identify and resolve project-related issues ensuring seamless execution.
Prepare and maintain project documentation reports and change orders.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
Manage procurement of materials and equipment needed for each project.
Participate in bid preparation estimating and contract negotiations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical contracting and project management.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems codes and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore Primavera MS Project) and estimating tools.
Excellent leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
