Principal Consultant Microsoft Cloud & Security
Hybrid Full-time
Are you a Microsoft Cloud & Security expert ready to lead cloud transformations and security initiatives Join my client to design implement and secure enterprise Azure environments while shaping and growing their cloud security team.
About the Role
As a Principal Consultant you will lead Cloud and Security engagements provide technical direction and drive pre-sales. You will mentor and expand a growing team (currently two members) fostering expertise in Cloud and security compliance and cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure Azure IaaS PaaS solutions using best practices.
- Secure cloud environments with Microsoft Defender Sentinel and Zero Trust principles.
- Guide clients on Azure security compliance identity and governance.
- Lead pre-sales activities including solution design proposals and presentations.
- Develop security roadmaps reference architectures and technical documentation.
- Foster mentor and grow the cloud security team.
What Were Looking For
- 5 years in Azure Cloud & Security consulting/solution architecture within a Microsoft partner or enterprise.
- Expertise in Azure security compliance networking and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender Sentinel Entra ID and cloud security frameworks.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders drive pre-sales and deliver enterprise projects.
- Microsoft certifications are preferred but experience is king.

Required Skills:
This is a leading role with a wide range of responsibilities including maintaining BAU managing security peer reviews release management web application security and contributing to the design and architecture of new solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux Admin Docker AWS CI/CD configuration management CDN security risk assessment vulnerability searching pen testing patching backups disaster recovery/BCP and documentation.
