Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced F5 Firewall Engineer with strong expertise in F5 BIG-IP Application Security Manager (ASM). The candidate will be responsible for managing deploying configuring troubleshooting and optimizing F5 ASM/WAF policies to ensure application security and high availability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Install configure and manage F5 BIG-IP ASM/WAF modules.
Create and fine-tune security policies signatures and bot protection rules.
Analyze traffic logs and mitigate attacks such as SQL injection XSS CSRF DDoS etc.
Perform F5 LTM configuration (virtual servers pools profiles) as required.
Monitor and troubleshoot application availability and security issues.
Perform policy deployment testing and migration across environments.
Work closely with application network and security teams during deployments.
Conduct regular health checks patching upgrades and performance tuning.
Prepare and maintain system documentation SOPs and security reports.
Provide on-call support and incident resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP ASM (Application Security Manager).
Good understanding of WAF concepts and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
Experience in F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager) configuration.
Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols SSL/TLS certificates iRules iApps.
Familiarity with Web application architecture and API security.
Experience with traffic analysis logs packet capture and troubleshooting tools.
Understanding of networking fundamentalsTCP/IP routing load balancing.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.
