Job Summary
Position - Estimator
Location - Greensboro NC
Company - Construction Company
Description - This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing construction company in the area!
In this role you will develop estimates and bids for construction projects. You will work closely with sub-contractors to source equipment and materials needed for each project. You will use excel and other tools to help organize and prepare information for each estimate. The bulk of projects you will work on with include land development grading and earthwork. This is a direct hire opportunity requiring limited overnight travel!
- Relevant degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant estimating experience is required in lieu of education
- Strong skills with excel required and pivot tables preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to read construction drawings and navigate CAD drawings required
- Ability to travel locally with some overnights required
