Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring an Engineer Program Director Water Resourcesto join our dynamic Infrastructure team in Florida. This position is responsible for building and expanding Woolperts water resources stormwater and coastal engineering services while driving business opportunities in groundwater water supply and water master planning across Florida and the Southeast. Qualified candidates will have success in business development and client relationship management.

What You Will Do:

Ignite Growth:Build and expand Woolperts water resources stormwater and coastal engineering services while driving business opportunities in groundwater water supply and water master planning.
Inspire Teams:Lead and mentor passionate professionals cultivating a high-performing team ready to tackle complex challenges.
Innovate Boldly:Leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver real-time flood predictions adaptive wet weather controls harmful algal bloom forecasting and more.
Drive Results:Lead business development efforts with Federal state and local agencies in the Southeast including strategic partnerships with USACE Districts (Jacksonville Savannah Charleston and Norfolk)and USACEResearch and Development Center (ERDC).
Elevate Impact:Represent Woolpert as a thought leader at industry events conferences and client-centric engagements while developing visionary solutions tailored to client needs.

What You Will Bring:

A Passion for Excellence:A BA/BS in Civil Biosystemsor Environmental Engineering/Science (MA/MS preferred) and 1012 years of related experience.
Entrepreneurial Spirit:Proven success in business development and client relationship management particularly with Southeast local and state agencies.
Innovative Leadership:A PE license (preferred) advanced technical expertise and a proactive approach to leveraging new technologies.
Collaborative Mindset:Experience building and leading high-performing teams and driving consensus across stakeholders.
Results Orientation:Strong problem-solving skills negotiation expertise and the ability to drive projects to exceed client expectations.
Travel:Must be able to travel(25-50%)asrequiredto meet the needs and demands of the Market.
