Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co. is looking for a National Sales Executive to join our team for the Chicago IL and surrounding area!
Candidates preferred to reside in the Chicago Illinois area

Inter-State Studio is a family-owned school photography and yearbook company that has been successfully serving schools for 90 years.

Position Overview:
As a National Sales Executive you will support the sales division and contribute to our profitable growth. Your main tasks will include prospecting interviewing and presenting to targeted accounts. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure our sales goals are met. The travel expectation for this role is up to 50% local travel and 10% requiring flight travel to further locations to meet with prospects and current customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales: Your role involves identifying and prioritizing top prospective schools for sales calls managing schedules and communication within territories and coordinating with inside sales representatives to prioritize target lists. You will schedule sales calls enter daily notes into the CRM system (HubSpot) and work with Territory Managers on standard proposals and benchmarks. Additionally you will collaborate on email marketing campaigns and prospect yearbook accounts for publishing representatives while working with the VP of Sales and Marketing to establish specific goals and plans.

Rebooking: Youll maintain customer relationships through school visits aiding in resigning existing customers alongside Territory Managers and ensuring continued satisfaction through follow-ups with signed accounts.

Business Acumen and Expense Management: This involves understanding price book and product cost forecasting estimating labor requirements and having knowledge of delivery times deadlines and custom products for preparing profitable agreements. Effective communication with customers sales management and other departments is key.

Customer Service: Youll solicit feedback from customers to ensure expectations are met promptly address any service issues and follow up with previous customers to identify concerns and offer solutions.

Qualifications

What well need from you:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field (experience can substitute education).

  • Two years of outside sales and management experience.

  • Sales experience in the educational market is a plus.

  • Strong communication negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
