Job Summary

Reports to: Superintendent of SchoolsLocation: Central Office Easthampton Public SchoolsWork Year: Year-round Individual Contract position Salary: $56000-$65000OverviewEasthampton Public Schools seeks a highly skilled organized and professional confidential Executive Administrative Assistant and Personnel Manager to provide direct support to the Superintendent of Schools and School Committee while managing key aspects of the districts personnel operations. This position plays a central role in ensuring the smooth efficient and confidential functioning of the Superintendents Office supporting effective communication and decision-making among district leaders staff and the community. The successful candidate will combine strong administrative and communication skills with experience in human resources or personnel management within a public ResponsibilitiesExecutive and School Committee SupportManage the Superintendents calendar correspondence and daily edit and maintain confidential materials including reports presentations and personnel as the recording secretary for all School Committee and subcommittee meetings; prepare and post agendas coordinatemeeting logistics and record official minutes in compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting as the public point of contact for the Superintendents Office maintaining a high level of professionalism confidentiality and customer as the recording secretary for contract negotiations bargaining meetings executive sessions and all other required and Human Resources ManagementCoordinate and maintain personnel files ensuring compliance with all local state and federal employment onboarding and offboarding processes for all staff including new hire documentation conduct confidential backgroundchecks including CORI/SORI/DCF/fingerprinting and DESE licensure and maintain accurate employee records including contracts evaluations leaves and and maintain accurate FMLA with recruitment postings and hiring processes in collaboration with the Superintendent and building employee benefits enrollment and changes in partnership with the City of Easthampton Human Resources personnel reports and data summaries for DESE School Committee and audits as development and implementation of personnel policies contracts and labor and CommunicationSupport district-wide initiatives events and communications on behalf of the Superintendent and School correspondence announcements and reports for internal and external personnel and School Committee records in accordance with public records and retention with the Business Office IT and other departments to ensure smooth operational alignment across Central Office.
