The Amazon Web Services Industry (AWSI) Professional Services APJ (Japan) team is a consulting organization that works with our global enterprise customers in various industries to achieve their business outcomes securely and faster in the cloud. Through project-based support our security consultants work with our customers on innovative solutions that promote cloud technology for the purpose of solving customer business problems faster and for long-term business expansion.

Professional Services engages in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners spanning diverse technologies across multiple industries. The Modernization Practice collaborates across the entire organization to deliver the best solutions for customers connect with product and service teams and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs. As trusted customer advocates the Practice helps organizations understand best practices around advanced -based solutions and how to migrate and/or re-develop existing workloads in the cloud. You will help shape execute and deliver solutions for a broad range of customer use cases primarily from large customers.

This is not a pure technical role nor is it a pure selling role. It is an individual with a unique modernization and native development expertise hands-on building coupled with cross-industry business acumen including a heavy dose of passion for continued knowledge acquisition and growth obsession for customers and their success using that will align well with the desired outcomes to be produced.

Key job responsibilities
- Leading complex projects with autonomy and discretion often involving multiple Amazon customer and partner teams.
- Working with customers and partners leading them through planning prioritization and delivery of complex transformation and migration initiatives while collaborating with relevant Sales Service and Support Teams.
- Designing and delivering solutions that solve for new levels of complexity scale and performance and in turn enable breakthrough innovations.
- Creating and applying frameworks methods best practices and artifacts that deliver prescriptive guidance to customers and publish and present them in large forums and across various media platforms.
- Guiding customers technical architecture and investments maximizing alignment with the platform and ease of adoption as new services and products become available.

An ideal candidate will be able to:
- Helping customers architect scalable highly available solutions that leverage GenAI services;
- Architecting and developing customer applications and innovative use-cases;
- Working as a technical leader alongside customer business development and teams;
- Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to customer policy design patterns and programming;
- Advising and implementing best practices;
- Implementing practices such as infra as code continuous and automated deployment leveraging Generative AI

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust
- Experience hosting and deploying ML solutions (e.g. fine tuning and inferences)
- Extensive knowledge of Context Engineering methods and strategy
- Basic understanding of deep learning (e.g. CNN RNN LSTM Transformer) Large Language Models Large Multimodal Models and other GenAI Models and their fine-tuning and distributed training strategies

- Full-Stack development capabilities with modern development frameworks and experienced with AI-assisted coding tool
- Strong software development experience in languages like TypescriptJava Python
- Proven experience in cloud computing technologies
- Knowledge in model integration/continuous delivery (MLOps)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation
