Job Summary

Overview

Resonetics Hudson is looking for an Engineering student to join the team as a summer intern May - Aug 2025.

This position will support the Manufacturing Engineering group typically working as an assignee on smaller scale Manufacturing Engineering projects or tasks related to larger scale Manufacturing Engineering projects.

The tasks/projects performed by this individual will typically be monitored or managed by a Manufacturing Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Undertakes and successfully completes simple or basic project/processdevelopment tasks.
  • Measure products using standard metrology practices.
  • Compile and analyze data using statistical analysis techniques.
  • Designsprocures and fabricates simple tooling and fixtures.
  • Generate andmodifymanufacturing process documentation andassurethat manufacturing processes and related documentation follow established policies and procedures per Resoneticsestablished Quality Management System.
  • Support execution of process and equipment validations IQ/OQ/PQ/MVP/TMV).
  • Create process documentation and training where applicable (Manufacturing Process Manufacturing Setup Preventive Maintenance etc.).
  • Identifiesareas for improvement suggests solutions andsubmitsidea records.
  • Additionalduties/projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and actively pursuing a (BS or MS) in Physics or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Good communicationskills comfortable with leading and providing project status updates to functional management and process teams.
  • Tireless work ethic and understanding of deadline management.
  • Good writingskills able towritereports manufacturing procedures andassistwithvalidation activities.
  • Familiar with formal problem-solving techniques (Cause & effect analysis 5Whys etc.)
  • Effective interpersonal skills and adeptness in working with culturally diverse employee population.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and negotiate alignment with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with statistical analysis skills (process capability equivalence studies regression ANOVA DOE).
  • Familiar with SolidWorks (or equivalent) for tooling/fixture design. Well versed in GD&T and print generation.
  • Experience with industrial lasers interventional device design and manufacturing device assembly.
  • Exposuretomedical device manufacturing or regulated environment.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $20-$24/hr.
