Catering Assistant Casual Victoria Melbourne (Bayside Area & Northern Suburbs)
$25.86 per hour 25% casual loading
Monday to Friday daytime shifts (some evenings)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen team across Bayside Area Melbourne and Northern Suburbs Melbourne. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great food and service.

The Position:
Assist with daily food preparation and service
Prepare sandwiches salads and other fresh menu items
Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
Support kitchen operations in high-volume periods
Manage stock and minimise waste

The Person:
Minimum 1 year experience as a Catering Assistant or in a similar role
Experience working in aged care facilities essential
Monday to Friday availability essential
Working With Children Check (WWCC) essential
Aged care vaccination essential
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate knowledge of food safety and food handling
A positive team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
