Caregiver 1st Shift Part Time and Every Other Weekend

Job Summary:

The Resident Wellness Assistant provides compassionate hands-on support to residents with daily living activities including personal care mobility and hygiene. This role emphasizes dignity respect and empathy using techniques from Memory Care training to reduce stress and encourage cooperation. The Resident Wellness Assistant works closely with residents families and team members to promote comfort safety and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude demonstrates impeccable ethics and integrity.
• Ambulates or assists in ambulation of the residents to and from activities dining room or other locations as needed.
• Assists with or perform personal hygiene tasks - brush teeth comb hair shave etc.
• Lift residents as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents families and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Director care team and healthcare providers to support individualized resident care plans.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe medication area and promote a supportive wellness environment.
• Provide attentive compassionate service that respects residents mobility cognitive and sensory needs.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and team members while upholding ethics and integrity.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Compassionate patient-centered approach with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Strong attention to detail organization and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Sound judgement and ability to make confident ethical decisions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit stand or walk for long periods.
• Ability to move comfortably and safely which can include lifting bending stretching squatting etc.
• Ability to safely support resident mobility and perform physical duties associated with caregiving.
