Job Summary
Summary:
The Porter will be responsible for keeping all working areas and physical surroundings of the plant in a clean and orderly condition. This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP Safety Regulatory and Company procedures and policies.
Responsibilities:
Follow all safety company and GMP policies and departmental procedures.
Clean production department floors.
Clean rooms hallways lobbies lounges rest rooms corridors stairways locker rooms and other work areas.
Complete necessary documentation for cleaning non-production areas.
Empty waste baskets and trash bin collectors.
Collect and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Operate waste compactor units.
Replenish cafeteria and rest room supplies.
Operate floor scrubbing machine.
Clear floor spills in the production and warehouse areas.
Clean and maintain outer perimeter of the facility including basic landscaping trash removal etc
Qualifications :
High School Diploma required
Additional Information :
Physical: Ability to lift 50 pounds climb stairs lift bend kneel stand for long periods of time work in confined spaces and work with heights
Compensation: $17.45
Candidate must consent a background screening drug test and physical.
1st shift hours are 10am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday
