The Mission
Act as a senior software engineer by delivering high quality results in your squad and providing technical guidance working with technologies like: Java Python Fast API Cloudera and Apache NiFi Apache Kafka Oracle Exadata Azure Azure DevOps IBM DataStage and IBM InfoSphere.
Your day to day
Create scalable software platforms and applications that are unit tested code reviewed and checked regularly for continuous integration.
Design user experience for aself-service applications
Contribute to the strategy and lifecycle management of the next generation data management platform
Analyze risks issues and other data in supporting teams reaching actionable decisions. Create and manage plans to mitigate risks for all projects in your Squad
Safeguard usage of Agile - Scrum principles in day-to-day work of the team
What youll bring to the team
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing to be able to align with various stakeholders on various levels
The ability to innovate engineer and productize software applications
Good knowledge in Java or Python development
Good knowledge of any big data technology and architecture is considered relevant
In depth knowledge of database concepts and database designs
In depth knowledge of data warehouse & data lake concepts data streaming data integration ETL processes and tools
Good knowledge with Linux operating system or other Unix systems.
Up to date with the latest industry standards and trends in the area of Data Management
Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements (eg. Security High Availability)
Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology is considered a plus
Excellent written and spoken English skills
