The Network Engineer - provides pivotal support for our business (including hospitality operational sites support offices and retail) through the effective management of Network infrastructure and third parties from design through to system maintenance. The role also effectively safeguards the Groups data and information against unauthorised access modification destruction or disclosure.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
Be responsible for providing supporting and operating Endeavour Groups IT network services (350 Sites) from design through implementation and system maintenance.
Provide provisioning and support in line with infrastructure governance and security principles including following the ITIL process.
Safeguarding business data and information against unauthorised access modification destruction or disclosure.
Perform implementation aspects support and improvement of relevant infrastructure and continuous improvement.
Provide in-depth technical expertise and advice.
Drive the implementation and maintenance of end-to-end network systems.
Prepare and maintain documentation (procedures technical documentation and process diagrams associated with IT Infrastructure).
Establish and test effective disaster recovery plans (documentation timelines operation etc.) to encompass key business systems.
Participate in the maintenance of procedures for disaster recovery usage and network administration
Stay current and updated with network technology including certifications required to perform the role.
Communicate with and manage stakeholders expectations at all levels of the business.
Configure manage and maintain enterprise firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto Fortinet Check Point Cisco ASA/Firepower).
Perform rule creation policy updates and configuration changes to support business and security requirements.
Monitor and analyse firewall logs alerts and security events to detect and respond to potential threats.
Conduct regular firewall audits rule base reviews and cleanup of unused or obsolete rules.
Implement network segmentation VPNs and secure remote access.
Provide technical input during network upgrades migrations and security assessments.
Perform network security duties such as managing/configuring and deployment of firewalls /switches and access points.
Ensure daily work schedule and projects are completed within set deadlines by performing project tracking functions
Carry out installation maintenance optimisation and monitoring of wireless or wired network equipment and other routine network hardware
Participate in the creation and maintenance of available documentation regarding processes network mapping and network configuration
Provide assistance in finding potential problems with network architecture/design
Perform analysis and monitoring of network availability and carry out performance tuning and assist in troubleshooting network issues
Collaborate with service providers and vendors to resolve problems relating to routine network and implement appropriate solutions
Provide assistance in evaluating and analysing new network software hardware and communication equipment ensuring compatibility
Qualifications :

Core Network: SD-WAN (Meraki Cisco) WAN LAN Cisco Routing (OSPF BGP) Switching Wireless DNS/DHCP load balancing NMS
VPN: Anyconnect/Secure Client
Network Security: Zscaler Internet Access/Client Connector Cisco WLC Cisco Prime Infrastructure Cisco DNAC Cisco ISE Azure Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and ZTNA solutions (e.g. Zscaler Cloudflare) AAA/RADIUS/TACACS IDS & IPS proxies
Firewalls: ASA Palo Alto Networks Fortinet FortiGate
Scripting/automation skills: Meraki API Python Ansible
Certifications: Meraki / Cisco Network certifications NSE 4 Cisco CCNP Security PCNSE and Check Point CCSA/CCSE
