Job Summary

About the Role

The National Sales Coordinator plays a central role in supporting organizing and enabling the commercial sales team across all regions. This role ensures that sales representatives have the necessary technical information sales tools pricing support and internal alignment to effectively promote the laboratorys food testing services. The position works closely with Sales Marketing Technical/Operations and Management to streamline internal processes and enhance team performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Sales Team Support & Organization

  • Act as the main point of contact for the commercial sales team for internal coordination documentation and information sharing.

  • Maintain and update national sales trackers pipelines forecasts and dashboards.

  • Assist in planning and executing national sales strategies and campaigns.

  • Coordinate internal communication ensuring sales teams are informed about new services changes promotions and technical updates.

2. Technical Support for Sales

  • Provide the sales team with technical clarifications methodology information testing capabilities and sample requirement guidelines.

  • Liaise with the technical team to obtain technical data turnaround times and service details needed to support sales pitches.

  • Assist in preparing technical proposals quotations and tenders ensuring accuracy and consistency.

 3. Internal Coordination

  • Facilitate communication between commercial and technical teams to streamline internal workflows.

  • Assist in scheduling internal training sessions technical briefings and sales enablement programs.

  • Support the onboarding of new sales staff by providing access to tools technical materials and processes.

 


Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree in Food Science Microbiology Chemistry Business Administration or related field.

  • Experience in food industry food testing laboratory services or related scientific/technical industries is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Good understanding of laboratory testing terminology and concepts (microbiological chemical nutritional analysis etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical information into commercial language.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems MS Office Suite and sales reporting tools.

  • Detail-oriented proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills

  • Ability to build strong working relationships across departments

  • Technical understanding combined with commercial awareness

  • Available job opportunities in Penang Selangor and Johor
