Senior Production Executive

JOB DIMENSIONS:

Reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the smooth running of  production. The role involves being responsible for planning for the site out of office hours. Ensure customers get the right quality of material on time and every time. This is a 24-hour operation that operates 6 days a week and if needed must work in shifts per the business requirements.

Job Scope:

To have a continuous interaction with the Production manager & Production team to understand the customer needs and convert the customer needs into executable plans well in advance and communicate back to the sales and Customer service on the delivery lead times.  Ensure that the planning of production in coordination with other departments such as the customer deliveries met on time.   Main objective of the role is to effectively utilize the resources to maximize the utilization and meet business objectives.

Role Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing coating line operations during the assigned shift to ensure safe efficient and continuous production. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve daily production targets maintain machine runnability and drive operational improvements in safety quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations:

• Ensure smooth operation of the coating line and achieve daily production targets.
• Coordinate with the Planning Team to align production schedules and machine loading.
• Monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Track and analyze downtime initiate corrective actions and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain and update daily production and downtime reports.
   

Coordination & Communication:

• Collaborate with Maintenance Quality Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure timely communication of shift performance issues and improvement actions to the next shift and relevant stakeholders.
   

Process Improvement & Projects:

• Lead and support projects focused on operational efficiency scrap reduction and cost optimization.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
   

People Management:

• Manage shift manpower effectively ensuring adequate skill coverage and adherence to shift schedules.
• Provide on-the-job training guidance and performance feedback to operators and shift personnel.
• Foster a safe disciplined and performance-driven work environment.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment Health & Safety) policies and standard operating procedures.

• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the shift team.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of coating or adhesive manufacturing processes
• Good knowledge of production planning and control systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
• Effective leadership and people management capabilities
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications :

Qualification - BE /. - Electrical /Mechanical /Chemical with min of 5 to 8 years of relevant Experience
