As a Sales Executive for Nine in Publishing you will be responsible for campaigns and deal sales across Australias #1 Metro Mastheads the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age as well as Australias national Business Masthead The Australian Financial addition to our Mastheads Publishing Sales Executives are responsible for sales across the portfolio which includes 9News 9Honey Wide World Of Sports and more.
You will work within a fast-paced high-performing and energetic sales team who push boundaries and lead the way!
Day to day you will:
- Effectively manage a pipeline of briefs and proactive ideas to meet and exceed revenue targets whilst accurately forecasting revenue to the business
- Communicate product value in order to educate clients and deliver on product sales
- Maintain a strong knowledge of online video and display native content performance media and programmatic buying
- Work with several departments and stakeholders to deliver leading solutions for your partners
- Deliver solutions to your clients that are strategically and creatively led showcasing your deep knowledge of your clients business
- Work closely with our Powered team to deliver new and relevant opportunities for brands
- Facilitate the sale of program sponsorships sports sponsorships and spot packages
- Maintain client and account lists
Qualifications :
You will be a solid team player who shows commitment to the teams purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others. Youll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly.
You will be proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way allowing you to build strong relationships.
What youll bring:
- Proven media experience preferably within Sales or Digital (essential)
- Excellent communication relationship and account management skills
- Proven ability of delivering revenue success and forecasting
- Strong analytical skills ability to understand revenue trends and use data to influence sales strategy
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Good understanding of the digital media landscape
- Strong presentation skills. Ability to build presentations from scratch and present to all sizes of groups
- Good understanding of the programmatic landscape and how to influence programmatic revenue (not essential)
