Job Summary
Establish and maintain an active research program in their area of expertise. Contribute to the teaching planning development and evaluation of courses and academic programs within the department of Medical Anatomical Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific ( COMP ). Promote by precept and example a general atmosphere of respect for knowledge thought and inquiry. Support students in the form of advisement as it relates to curriculum wellness and professional planning. The faculty member will engage in departmental college and university committees/services with an expectation to additionally seek out ways to administratively support these bodies beyond appointments.
Required Qualifications
EDUCATION : Ph.D. degree in Anatomical Sciences or equivalent degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Preferred Qualifications
EXPERIENCE : Two years of post-doctoral experience including teaching at an accredited institution of higher learning as well as a track record of high-quality research and scientific publications. Preference will be given to those individuals possessing experience teaching at a medical institution.
