About the role
As a Cruise Specialist you will focus on designing and booking cruise vacations that match clients preferences budgets and travel styles. Youll combine product knowledge of cruise lines itineraries and onboard experiences with attentive customer service to recommend the right ships staterooms and shore excursions. This role suits someone who enjoys relationship-building detail-oriented planning and delivering seamless sea-based travel experiences.
Key responsibilities

Advise clients on cruise options itineraries cabin categories onboard amenities and shore excursions.

Research and compare cruise lines ships routes and pricing to present tailored options.

Manage cruise bookings end-to-endreservations deposits payments and documentation.

Coordinate with cruise line representatives travel partners and ground suppliers to confirm arrangements and secure value-added amenities where available.

Prepare and deliver clear itineraries boarding instructions and pre-departure information to clients.

Monitor bookings for schedule changes sailings status updates or itinerary revisions and communicate changes promptly.

Resolve client issues or service disruptions and escalate complex matters to management or suppliers as needed.

Maintain accurate client records booking files and supplier contacts in internal systems.

Participate in supplier relationship activities and maintain awareness of promotions loyalty programs and seasonal offers.
Requirements

13 years experience in cruise sales travel retail hospitality or related customer service roles preferred.

Strong knowledge of cruise products onboard offerings and common itinerary structures is an advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Customer-focused attitude with good problem-solving skills especially under time pressure.

Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office Excel and Word email internet research). Familiarity with GDS cruise reservation systems CRMs or online booking platforms is a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours occasionally to support client needs or supplier time zones.
