CAREERS CO-ORDINATOR

30 hours per week term time only plus 2 INSET days

B&NES Grade 3 (17583 per annum minimum gross starting salary)

or B&NES Grade 4 depending on qualification held (18146 per annum minimum gross starting salary)

An exciting opportunity for a creative and proactive individual to join our Student Support Team as a Careers Co-ordinator. This is a full time permanent post.

Having achieved excellent results in summer 2025 Bucklers Mead Academy is going from strength to strength. Our most recent Ofsted in May 2024 judged us as a strong Good in all areas.

In the first instance the post will include:

Administering Work Experience Higher Education month and visits Work Related Talent Academies

Organising and co-ordinating Careers Events

Providing Careers information advice and guidance to students.

It is desirable for candidates to hold a Level 6 Diploma Career Guidance and Development qualification or have a willingness to train for the qualification.

The successful candidate should have:

A good level of education to include GCSE English and Mathematics

Outstanding communication skills both written oral and interpersonal with both adults and children

Good ICT skills

Ability to work independently and use own initiative

Strong organisational skills
