We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Landscape Account Manager to oversee landscaping services for commercial properties across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships ensuring high-quality service delivery and driving customer satisfaction while coordinating with field crews and vendors. This role requires a blend of horticultural knowledge account management skills and a customer-first mindset to maintain and grow our commercial portfolio in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients including property managers HOAs and business owners addressing their landscaping needs and concerns.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess landscape conditions ensure quality standards and identify opportunities for enhancements or upsells.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules ensuring timely execution of mowing pruning irrigation checks seasonal cleanups and other landscape services.
- Collaborate with field crews to communicate client expectations oversee project completion and resolve any on-site issues.
- Prepare and present proposals bids and contracts for new services enhancements or renewals tailored to client budgets and property needs.
- Monitor account profitability manage budgets and ensure services are delivered within scope and on time.
- Respond to client inquiries and emergencies promptly maintaining strong relationships and trust.
- Stay informed on local climate conditions plant health and sustainable landscaping trends specific to the Dallas-Fort Worth region (e.g. drought-tolerant plants water conservation).
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for specialized services such as tree care pest control or hardscape installations.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions service reports and billing details using company CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial landscaping account management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture turf management and irrigation systems with familiarity of plants suited to North Texas climates.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and landscape management software (e.g. Aspire LMN or similar).
- Valid Texas drivers license and ability to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
- Certification in landscaping horticulture or irrigation (e.g. TCLP ISA or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with commercial properties such as office parks retail centers or industrial complexes.
- Understanding of local regulations and water restrictions in the DFW area.
- Sales experience with a track record of growing account revenue through enhancements or add-on services.
