Job Summary
We are hiring a Field Superintendent to manage residential construction projects in Wilmette Illinois. This hands-on role oversees remodeling and new home construction ensuring projects are completed on time on budget and to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily on-site operations and coordinate subcontractors suppliers and inspectors
- Execute projects according to plans schedules and scopes of work
- Monitor progress maintain documentation and resolve issues quickly
- Conduct quality checks and ensure OSHA safety compliance
- Maintain clean organized and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners designers and trade partners
Requirements
- 5 years of residential construction experience remodeling or custom homes preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods sequencing and building codes
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades and schedules
- Experience with BuilderTrend or similar software
- Proficiency with digital drawings and cloud-based documentation
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Carpentry or hands-on construction experience
- Luxury home or high-end remodeling experience
- Experience working with architects designers and homeowners
- OSHA safety certification
Compensation & Benefits
- $70000 base salary
