Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Key responsibilities include collecting and reporting patient data executing clinical orders and performing therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate and population-appropriate manner. Additional duties may be assigned to support safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities

Provide nursing care under RN supervision

Collect and document patient data accurately

Carry out clinical orders as directed

Perform therapeutic procedures per patient needs

Follow established policies procedures and care standards

Support additional patient care tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Training
-
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse

Current BLS certification
Experience
-
One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
Preferred (Not Required)

Experience in emergency or critical care settings
-
Comfortable with vents trachs PICC lines
-
Two years of direct patient care experience
