Job Summary
Join our cardiac care team as a Cath Lab Technologist in Ottumwa Iowa. We are seeking a skilled and certified Cath Lab Tech to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role is perfect for candidates with experience in cardiovascular imaging patient care and catheterization lab operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Operate and maintain cardiac imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and monitoring systems
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide continuous monitoring during interventions
- Follow sterile technique and ensure a safe environment in the Cath Lab
- Collaborate with cardiologists nurses and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and patient records
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current and active Iowa RT(R) license or Paramedic license in Iowa
- BLS Basic Life Support certification
- ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- Certification through ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Iowa Paramedic license
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy physiology and catheterization procedures
- Strong attention to detail teamwork and patient-focused care
