Location: On-site in Boiling Springs South Carolina a friendly fast-growing community just minutes from Spartanburg and within an hour of Greenville. Relocation is welcomed and relocation assistance is available.

Note: Must have prior experience in bookkeeping payroll and tax preparation (individual business and nonprofit). CPA or CPA-candidate status is preferred but not required.

Job Description

Prepare individual corporate partnership and nonprofit tax returns.
Manage client bookkeeping monthly reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Process payroll and related filings including payroll tax sales tax and business license returns.
Use accounting software such as QuickBooks Peachtree and UltraTax (Thomson Reuters).
Collaborate closely with clients and team members to deliver timely accurate work.
Support the team during peak seasons with additional hours as needed (no overnight travel).

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting (required).
3 years of experience in bookkeeping accounting or tax preparation.
CPA license or active pursuit of CPA or Masters in Accounting (preferred).
Experience with QuickBooks UltraTax and related accounting software.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
