Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team in Elko Nevada. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment providing accurate and timely laboratory results that support patient care. The ideal candidate is experienced reliable and passionate about maintaining the highest standards in laboratory testing and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex laboratory tests accurately and efficiently in accordance with established protocols
- Analyze and interpret test results to support physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure proper operation
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and quality standards
- Train and mentor junior laboratory staff as needed
Qualifications:
- ASCP AMT or equivalent certification required
- NV General Supervisor Laboratory license required
- Minimum of three years of prior medical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures instrumentation and quality control
- Excellent attention to detail problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
