Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Ottumwa Iowa. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor and assess patient conditions including vital signs and lab results
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and critical situations
- Educate patients and families on conditions treatments and recovery plans
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in Iowa or a multistate license valid for Iowa practice
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support verification
- Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support preferred
- Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills
- Previous ICU experience preferred but not required
