Key Responsibilities
As a member of the nursing management team you will be responsible for:
- Operational Orchestration: Masterfully orchestrate daily procedures ensuring seamless coordination and administrative functioning.
- Team Leadership & Staffing: Cultivate a well-staffed engaged team playing a key role in the selection development and support of talented staff across departments.
- Quality & Productivity: Champion productivity and cost-effective practices while ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Compliance & Policy: Uphold all hospital policies and regulatory standards (e.g. Title 22 Nurse Practice Act) while fostering a culture of innovation.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively and comprehensively address all concerns ranging from QA initiatives to direct patient feedback.
- Resource Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels and procedural supplies.
Work Schedule: A typical work schedule will consist of five 8-hour shifts functioning administratively and providing staffing support as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Nursing Healthcare Business or Public Administration is required.
- Experience (Clinical): Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Labor and Delivery is required.
- Experience (Leadership): Minimum of 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience is required.
Licensure
- Mandatory: Possess a current and valid Arizona RN licensure.
