The Role: Senior Order-to-Cash (OTC) Specialist
As a Senior OTC Specialist you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle. You will focus on advanced order management complex billing proactive collections strategy issue resolution and key reconciliation activities. This role requires demonstrated expertise attention to detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement within global OTC operations.
Key Responsibilities (Your Expertise & Leadership):
- End-to-End Ownership: Expertly manage complex order entry billing collections activities and cash applications ensuring strict adherence to global company policies.
- Dispute & Escalation Management: Proactively manage and resolve complex customer disputes overdue invoices and escalated queries working closely with internal sales and logistics teams.
- Process Excellence: Contribute to the continuous improvement of OTC processes identifying bottlenecks enhancing controls and optimizing system usage.
- Financial Integrity: Lead key monthly and quarterly closing activities execute detailed reconciliations (AR aging reports) and provide support for internal and external audit requirements.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Act as a resource for junior team members providing guidance on best practices for order processing and collections follow-up.
- Master Data Management: Maintain the highest standard of customer master data integrity within the ERP system.
Requirements (Your Senior Profile):
- Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: 2-5 years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Order-to-Cash (OTC) or related finance operations roles.
- Technical Mastery:
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of core accounting and finance principles.
- Advanced analytical skills in MS Excel (mandatory V-lookups pivot tables and data modeling).
- Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (SAP Oracle or NetSuite experience is a distinct plus).
- Essential Language Skills (Meeting one of the following criteria):
- Criteria 1 (Preferred): Native or Near-Native fluency in German (C2 Level) AND Advanced English (C1 Level).
- Criteria 2: Excellent command of English (C1 Level) for global communication.
- Mindset: Demonstrated ability to multitask a strong customer service orientation and exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Offer & Work Schedule:
- Contract: Permanent employment contract after a successful 3-month trial period.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00.
- Days Off: Saturday and Sunday.
