Job Summary
Provides assistive care to patients. Facilitates the efficient delivery of patient care supports the professional role of the licensed staff and provides support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient. Assists with clerical and administrative functions as a multi-skilled auxiliary worker.
Required Qualifications
1. Education: Any combination of education training experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. Medical Assistant Certificate or LVN Licensing from an accredited course of study is required. 2. Experience: 2 3 years prior experience in a medical office environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and various types of medical testing equipment or devices. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. 3. Software: Use Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management Software programs as well as Microsoft office and other applicable software packages.
