How Youll Make an Impact
- Design and configure SCADA/EMS solutions for grid operations.
- Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients.
- Build and maintain configuration databases for SCADA/EMS applications.
- Support integration of advanced technologies like Docker Kubernetes and SaaS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Provide technical expertise during pre-sales and implementation phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues for optimal performance.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical Computer Science or related).
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SCADA EMS OTS or GMS systems.
- Strong understanding of power system operations and grid automation principles.
- Proficiency in scripting and virtual platforms (VMware Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Smart Grid architecture and NERC compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
