Copleston High School is a popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive noted for its caring and disciplined atmosphere.
We are looking to appoint casual staff to work as teachers/cover supervisors to work when we have short or long-term staff absence professional development performance management or other agreed absence.
In short-term absence of their usual teacher you will be responsible for and supervise a class of students. You will deliver and supervise work that has been set in accordance with school policy manage the behaviour of pupils respond to any questions from pupils and communicate with the Head of Department or form tutor.
You will be expected to have expertise and experience of working with KS3 and KS4 duties will involve the interpretation of recognised procedures or guidelines you will be expected to use initiative.
You will have high standards and be committed to meeting the needs of the school. The school has a strongly supportive ethos and is deeply committed to the professional development of staff. We offer an excellent induction programme to all colleagues who join us.
