Job Summary
Job Summary
Reports to Dr. Dominique Griffon Associate Dean for Research College of Veterinary Medicine. The Research Assistant provides technical support for scientific research by the mentor as assigned. Assist in planning ordering and monitoring supplies for assigned projects Collect and process samples Conduct the experiment and collect data under supervision of the PI Prepare inventories of samples and monitor storage conditions Participate in scholarly writing Participate in the laboratory training of veterinary and undergraduate students in the PIs lab
Required Qualifications
A minimum of bachelors degree in the life sciences. Research lab experience and knowledge of fundamental laboratory techniques is required.
