Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager Procurement Specialist!
The Source to Contract Assistant Manager drives and manages the entire sourcing lifecycle from supplier identification and selection to contract negotiation and execution. This role ensures effective supplier onboarding robust sourcing strategies compliance with policies and optimal contract agreements that deliver value and mitigate risks for the organization.
Responsibilities
Analysis & Opportunity Identification
Conduct detailed analysis of business spend and contracts landscape by category/sub category to identify trends variances and opportunities including the spend under management and create a cost baseline to inform development of category/sub category plans (incl should cost analysis).
Perform analysis of the supply market external and incumbent completing SWOT analysis Porters 5 Forces Kraljic Matrix (for category) and other analyses as directed to assess supplier landscapes pricing benchmarks and potential competitive advantages.
Perform analysis of tail spend data to identify patterns key suppliers and recurring purchases across all categories.
Identify and suggest prioritized opportunities for cost savings supplier consolidation and process improvement for Category Manager / Specialist review and input.
Develop robust financial models and projections to support justifications for sourcing initiatives
Synthesize information to identify value levers to be incorporated into draft sourcing and category plans for Category Manager / Specialist review and input.
Source to Contract
Assist the Category & Sourcing Team with the development of sourcing strategies ensuring internal stakeholder completion sourcing risk assessments upon completion collaborate with the relevant risk SMEs (e.g. Legal IT Security) ensuring due diligence is completed as required.
As agreed with Category Manager / Specialist facilitate the end to end RFX process including RFX document preparation draft tender evaluation plan support market conditioning as directed co-ordination and documentation of any NDAs and COIs release of RFX manage intent to respond and responses receipt.
Manage supplier communication Q&A and clarifications directing to Category Managers Category Specialists or other SMEs as required
Support contract review and collate departures analysis (side by side) based template contract and legal playbook
Conduct detailed financial and qualitative analysis/modeling of bids
BAFO/LAFO coordination
Budget forecast summary(output of bid analysis)
Development of contract implementation and management plan (CIMP) for input review and approval by Category Manager / Specialist.
Ensure all sourcing and contracting activities adhere to procurement policies legal and regulatory requirements.
Contract Management Supplier Risk Performance & Relations Management
Ensure contracts are properly executed (in accordance with DOA Policy) stored and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
Co-ordinate and document supplier performance data and reports for assigned contracts
Co-ordinate and document quarterly business reviews for assigned contracts Monitor contract expiry and renewal dates coordinating with Category Managers well in advance to initiate extensions renegotiations or exit/off-boarding strategies.
Analyze spend against contract and identify any trends variances or non-compliance.

Operational fleet management of trade fleet

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant years of experience in supply chain planning or related strategic roles.
Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration or a related field (masters preferred).
Preferred Skills

Relevant years of category management/sourcing experience with proven abilities to develop and facilitate end to end procurement strategies.
Strong knowledge of procurement good practices contract negotiation and supplier management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated track record of driving results and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Proven capability to operate in and support a fast-paced procurement environment requiring excellent time and work prioritization skills
High attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects RFXs contract activities concurrently
Strong Coupa experience
Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce / Law or a related field
CIPS membership
Working knowledge of fleet management
